These Terms of Service apply to PDFlingo, a document recognition, translation, bilingual reading, and export service for iPad.
You must have the right to upload a document and authorize the cloud processing needed to provide the service. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, confidential, or regulated material unless you are authorized to do so. Keep your email and Apple accounts secure, and do not share sign-in codes.
Automated recognition and translation may omit, misread, or incorrectly translate text, figures, tables, or formulas. Output is not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. Check important information against the original and obtain professional advice when appropriate.
Free accounts include 200 translation pages per UTC calendar month. Pro includes 10,000 translation pages per UTC calendar month. Monthly and annual plans receive the same monthly allowance. Reading an existing translation does not start a new translation job; generating another target language uses allowance. The app displays the current usage and remaining allowance.
Pro is an Apple auto-renewable subscription. The Apple purchase screen shows the price, billing period, and benefits. Annual plans are paid upfront. Unless auto-renewal is turned off through Apple at least 24 hours before the current period ends, Apple may renew the subscription and charge the Apple Account. Manage or cancel the subscription in Apple subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable rules.
Restore purchases with the original Apple purchase relationship and the same PDFlingo account. Restoration does not transfer a subscription to another PDFlingo account. Deleting the app or PDFlingo account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Apple’s standard software license terms also apply to the app license.
Networks, cloud providers, maintenance, and security controls may delay or interrupt processing. We may change or discontinue features, and we will provide notice where required by law. We may restrict use that is unlawful, abusive, or threatens the service or other users.
